The first floor and lower level apartment are both independently furnished, but share a garage and washing machine. For mental relaxation there is a good library, games and jigsaw puzzles but the house is media-free except for a radio and CD player. A lovely cool breeze blows through and ceiling fans are fitted in the upstairs bedrooms and living room. Shoal Bay (recently voted the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean) is about one mile to the West and the picturesque village and beach of Island Harbour is half a mile the other way. A rental car is recommended and can be arranged for you. The snorkling and scuba diving are second to none in the Caribbean, especially the wreck diving.
